what do I do if I do have late charges because of their system outage? Additionally, I guess to sum up my long winded novel with the questions: I don’t want a ding on my credit and I’m going to be pretty pissed if my account DID get closed.ĮDIT: I wish i had access to my accounts to give at least some more exact info for the template the mods want to use but I can’t access anything at all because of this outage (history, exact balances, account ages etc). Sorry for the long rant but I’ve been actively trying to pay but I usually never have late payments on my cards. Why are the rest of us going to suffer potential consequences because of something that isn’t our fault? Additionally, I have no idea if my account is actually closed or not because I haven’t received any letters about it or if it’s a site glitch. I’ve tried to tweet them and get help but no avail. The worst part is that my younkers payment is due today and I’m scared that because of THEIR system issues and unknown resolution date, I’m going to have a late payment and a hit on my credit. The one time payment section of the site is not working AND now, i tried accessing one of my accounts (the Younkers one) and thought the website was working but now it’s saying it is a closed account? I can’t access my sephora or my Victoria’s Secret accounts still but luckily they aren’t due for a while. The phone lines now say that agents cannot access payments or any account information and can no longer assist until the website is up and running again. From what I’ve tried to research, that’s not the case. You can’t access the accounts otherwise at all. To be frank, I think the last time I saw that card, it was in an old wallet buried in an old purse lol.Ĭut to last week: Comenity bank, who houses my 3 credit cards, has been going through some “scheduled site maintenance lasting to beginning of next week” (which would’ve been today) and gives canned responses on Twitter, Facebook, and their customer care phone lines that only same day payments can be made on the website or on the phone. I don’t use it anymore, obviously, but just continue to pay on it. Anyways, Younkers closed when I was still living in a state that had one (and I’m pretty sure went bankrupt?) but I still continue to pay it off. I got that card being an irresponsible idiot wanting expensive cosmetics out of my means, etc etc. Some backstory on my oldest card with them: Younkers. I have three cards with Comenity Bank: Younkers, Sephora, and Victoria’s Secret. No promotion of illegal, fraudulent, or nefarious activities No self-promotional content with prior mod approval.
